The Schecter Jeff Loomis-FR is the Signature Model for Guitar virtuoso Jeff Loomis of Nevermore Fame . It is specifically designed for dropped tuned all out shredding. It features an extended scale 26.5" neck to cope with the addition of a low B string, the active EMG 707 Pickups are perfect for capturing those down -tuned riffs. The Schecter Jeff Loomis features top of the line hardware including Original Floyd Rose locking tremolo and grover tuners.

Tuners - Grover
ROTOMATICS® WITH 18:1 GEAR RATIO (102-18 SERIES) The original Rotomatic® with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination

Finger Board - Maple
Very bright and dense, Maple is highly reflective. When used on a fretboard, Maple encourages tremendous amounts of higher overtones and its tight, almost filtered away bass favors harmonics and variations in pick attack.

 Pickups - EMG Active 707
The 707 has been leading the pack of 7-string guitar pickups since its debut in 2001. Before this model was introduced, existing 7-string pickups sounded muddy and dull on the low B string, especially when trying to hit artificial and natural harmonics, but the 707 eliminated all those problems. Featuring Alnico V loaded wide aperture coils we were able to beef up that Low B tone and at the same time provide a more responsive super tight overall sound.

Bridge Original Floyd Rose Tremolo
The Floyd Rose Tremolo System is used by more professionals throughout the world than any other. No copy can duplicate the patented double-locking design of the Floyd Rose Tremolo System that allows you to lock your guitar in tune at the nut and at the bridge. The Floyd Rose Tremolo System is engineered like no other tremolo system.
