Rob has been teaching guitar for over 10 years, and holds a 1st class degree in music from University of Salford. He has taught all levels of music from absolute beginners through to lecturing in musicology and theory to undergraduate students at BIMM and University of Salford. Advocating a holistic approach to learning music, Rob’s lessons balance aural skills, technique and applicable theory to content directed by the students themselves.
He has also a published author of guitar method books, and to date has released six books via Fundamental Changes on subjects as diverse as beginner classical pieces to progressive metal and shred guitar vocabulary.
Aside from educating, Rob has performed with cruise ship and music theatre orchestras, as well as various pop and funk bands around the UK.
